Facilitation and Mediation Training

Managing the dynamics of communication in a mediation process
Working in inter-disciplinary and international groups and teams is becoming more and more of a requirement in business. Facilitation by a group member or by an external facilitator significantly contributes to utilising the full potential of the group.

The mediation process allows conflict partners to explore ways of agreeing on a constructive solution without surrendering the actual decision-making to a third party, e.g. arbitrator. The training develops the participants' ability to handle such situations professionally. It looks at the required skills to manage the group as well as to handle the visual aids. It shows how to develop objectives for the session and how to develop a step-by-step design.

Facilitation and mediation sessions are simulated in order to practise the developed skills.
